Hate Crime Awareness week 2021

Today hate crime awareness week for 2021 begins and I wanted to write a blog in order mark the week.

I have been a victim of hate crime both in person and on social media over the years.

These incidents made we want to help young people understand the impact that their words and actions can have.

I have been delivering assemblies in schools during the past couple of years about the impact that words and actions can have on people.

These assemblies have had an impact on the lives of young people and made them consider their actions.

I will continue to educate young people about the impact their words and actions can have on the victims.

This week I will be sharing some thoughts and opinions about the experiences that I have had around hate crime.

Hate crime has been going up in our society recently and I have been wondering why.

I think this is because issues have been raised in the media recently meaning that people have been forced into looking at them.

Everybody in society should be classed as normal as there is no such thing as normal because we are all unique in our own way.

Please follow my Twitter account as I celebrate being disabled over the next week and why I love the way that I am.

As always thank you for reading my blogs and being supportive by continuing to follow my journey.
