On Saturday, the 21st of August 2021 I travelled to Aston in Birmingham to watch my beloved Aston Villa take on Newcastle United.
It was awesome to be back at the stadium that I enjoy being in with my best friend.
Villa Started badly but at the end of the first half Danny Ings scored villa’s opener.
Villa started the second-half well and not long into the half we were awarded a penalty which Anwar el Ghazi took and scored.
I am so excited to attend future matches at villa park as it is something that I love to do.
I also enjoyed watching Newcastle United play again as it is something that I have seen before a villa park
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Aston Villa for everything that they have done to ensure that fans are safe during their visits to the stadium.
I would definitely recommend football fans considering returning to stadiums as it will allow us to return to a level of normality.
I am excited to see Aston Villa progress during the 2021/22 season.
I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading this blog and understand why I was so excited to return to villa park and watch my beloved Aston Villa.
