This weekend has seen storm Arwen batter the United Kingdom.
This has meant that public transport has been stopped left, right and centre meaning that people have not been able to go out and about.
All trains have been either delayed or cancelled across the country leaving people stranded.
Trees have also been blown down by the storm meaning that’s roads & railway lines have been left blocked.
The fact that we have been battered by the storm this weekend doesn’t surprise me as we head into winter 2021.
I have unfortunately been affected by storm Arwen As I wasn’t able to travel on the train this weekend.
Official advice from the powers at B was given to stay home and not travel unless it was absolutely necessary.
I hope that we do not see many more weekends like this one this winter otherwise it is going to be another winter of disruption.
I managed to head out for a walk in my local area this morning and this is where I came across some of the damage that the storm had caused.
As we head into winter 2021 I would like to urge all of my followers and readers to stay safe if they are out and about in any severe weather because nobody should be risking their lives.
I am hoping that I will be able to head out and about once again in the next couple of days once storm Arwen has passed the United Kingdom.
I would yet again like to thank my readers and followers for taking the time out of their busy schedules to read this latest blog.
