On Tuesday, the 25th of January 2022 I went on ITV news Central to raise real fears that a couple of Herefordshire’s Roads are an accident waiting to happen.
I had been trying to raise this issue with the local authority since 2019 but hadn’t had any luck until January 2022.
As part of the filming for the news piece I said that I believe that Herefordshire Council don’t understand that it’s an issue that Hereford’s roads are an accident waiting to happen.
As a result of this interest from ITV Central the local authority here in Herefordshire have now met with me and understand the risks that are associated with a couple of the counties roads if you are in a wheelchair or mobility scooter.
I hope that the counties pavements will be a much safer place for those who rely on wheelchairs and mobility scooters to get around in their daily lives.
