On Wednesday, the 9th of February 2022 I finally met with officials from my local authority to discuss the pavement crisis.
I have been trying to engage with them for three years but with little success until 2022.
At the meeting officials said that they would look at only one side of Harrow Road as it would be cheaper for them to fix one side of the road instead of two.
I believe that the officials were just carrying out lip service and will not actually do anything to solve the issue.
I am delighted that three years of hard work paid off but I’m not sure if I have actually been taken seriously by those who have the power to make decisions.
I believe that we will not get the outcome that we are hoping for because of a lack of understanding and funding.
