On Sunday, the 27th of February 2022 I travelled to Birmingham to see a choir made up of people with disabilities called sign along with us.
This concert was an important step in ensuring that the disabled community feel that they are represented.
I really enjoyed the The concert because it was not your average concert.
The choir sang whilst signing and also told there individual stories about why they joined the choir.
After the concert fans were given the opportunity to meet the choir and this helped them to understand that they do have an impact on those living in society with disabilities.
I am looking forward to attending more events like this as I believe it will pave the way for more equal representation in our society
