On Saturday, the 5th of March 2022 I was named an Aston Villa community champion for 2022
I have been recognised for my work during the coronavirus pandemic to engage young people whilst they were unable to play football
During the pandemic I decided to launch a podcast series for young people so that they could talk about issues that mattered to them in a safe space.
In the podcast series we did episodes on Disability, Gender and Discrimination , Sexuality and Mental Health.
It is an honour to be recognised by the football club that I support in this way as I have worked tirelessly over the last 18 months to ensure young people are not forgotten during in these difficult times.
I will not stop doing this incredible work as I believe that all young people have the right to be heard and express their views in any way possible.
I would again like to thank all of my readers and followers for taking the time out of their busy schedules to read this latest blog post.
