I attended FA Leadership Academy in 2020 as a youth leader and again in 2021 to help deliver this incredible experience for the next cohort of youth leaders.
In 2020 I loved the experience because I was given the opportunity to develop my own personal leadership Philosophy which is something that I am still developing today.
The following year l helped to deliver this incredible experience for the next cohort of youth leaders and that was an incredible experience.
During in FALA 2021 I interviewed former England International David James and the FA’s head of league operations Lauren O’Sullivan.
As the this year’s addition of the FA leadership Academy gets underway in the coming weeks I cannot express enough how exciting the youth leaders are going to find the next week and the coming year.
If I had to give one piece of advice to this year’s cohort of youth leaders then it would be this go and grab all the opportunities you are given with two hands as you will learn so much from them.
I will continue to use what I learnt at FA leadership Academy for years to come as I believe that I have been given the tools and skills to become the best leader that I can
All that is left for me to say is good luck to the youth leaders , their mentors and those who are there to support them during the next year or so.
