Keeping an extra daylight hour this winter will not help the the most vulnerable in our society

If we were to ditch the annual winter clock change and replace it and extra hour of energy it will not help the most vulnerable in our society.

As I have said in my previous blog on this subject our community relies on power live and stay warm this winter.

I am strongly against replacing the annual winter clock change with an extra hour of energy because it will not support us in anyway.

I rely on power overnight to charge my wheelchair ready for the following day and if we were to get an extra hour of energy and power it will not help because it will become far too costly.

Earlier in October the disabled Community who claim personal Independence payment (PIP) received £150 towards their energy from his Majesty’s government.

This was a one off payment and I was strongly opposed to this because I believe that we should receive more support from HM government because both the disabled and those living in care homes are the most vulnerable within our society.

I would like to urge those who have the power to make decisions such as scrapping the annual winter clock change for an extra hour of power and energy to consult people first because it will not help.

As a disability rights campaigner living in the West Midlands this makes me incredibly angry and I simply cannot put into words how this suggestion makes me feel.

As I am writing this blog I am getting angrier angrier and I am shouting as loud as I can in frustration.

Everything that’s his Majesty’s government are doing support the vulnerable this winter is not good enough as I’ve said previously.

I am yet again incredibly saddened to write a blog of this nature however I feel so strongly about this issue I want to speak out about this on behalf of those who are unable to do so.

If this suggested change goes ahead yet again those who are the most vulnerable within our society will be directly impacted thanks to get another bad decision.

The government really does need to consult with those who are most vulnerable before making decisions on this matter.

As always I would like to thank both of my readers and followers for taking the time out of your busy schedules to read yet another one of my blogs.
