This evening at 7:30 England will take on France in the 2021 wheelchair rugby league World Cup final in Manchester.
This is going to be an interesting final because both of these sides have had an incredible tournament so far meaning it is impossible to predict the result.
England were in group A with Australia, Spain and Ireland and they topped the standings with 6 points from three matches.
The three lions opened there World Cup campaign with a 38 – 8 victory over Australia and quickly followed that up with a 104-12 victory over the Spanish.
England’s final group A clash saw them take on Ireland who they comfortably beat by 121 – 0.
France were in group B with Wales, United States of America (USA) and Scotland and they also topped there group with 3 wins from 3 matches.
The french opened there World Cup campaign with an 154 to 6 victory over the welsh and quickly followed that up with victory over the Scottish by 80 points to 15.
The final match of group B for the French saw them take on the United States of America (USA) who they again comfortably beat by 116 points to the USA’s 6.
England and France then progressed on to the semi finals which saw England take on Wales and France take on Australia.
England comfortably smashed the welsh by 125 points to Wales’s 22 with the French also comfortably beating the Aussie’s by 84 points to 40.
The 2021 Rugby League wheelchair world cup final will be live on BBC 2 from 7pm with play getting underway in Manchester at 7:30.
