On Wednesday, the 6th of July 2022 I travelled to old Trafford in Manchester to attend the opening match of the UEFA women’s football European Championships.
The match finished 1-0 to England thanks to a goal from England’s Beth Mead.
The atmosphere wasn’t like any other football match that I have attended since I started following football in 2010.
Woman’s football is more like a party as the fans sing songs and start stadium wide Mexican waves
I am proud to be following England’s national woman’s football team during there European championship campaign here in England.
The next game that I will be attending of European Championships will be England versus Norway at the AMEX Stadium in Brighton.
