Returning to Wembley for the first time since being named the England Football and McDonald’s Rising Star of the year in 2021.

I returned to Wembley with my best friend for the first time since picking up the England Football and McDonald’s Rising Star of the year award at the grassroots football awards in 2021 on Thursday the 6th of April to watch the Lionesses take on Brazil.

I was quite emotional on the journey from Hereford to London because memories of my last trip to Wembley came flooding back.

I had plans to retake a couple of pictures that were first taken of me during my last visit to Wembley.

The first picture that I was planning to retake was me outside Wembley with the stadium in the background.

The second picture that I was planning to recapture was me inside the stadium with the pitch behind me but from a different position than last time.

We were sat behind the England bench and directly opposite where I stood on the pitch once I had received my prestigious award.

I was super excited to see Aston Villa stars Rachel Daly and Jordan Nobbs play for England at Wembley.

Villa goalkeeper Hannah Hampton was also at Wembley as she’s part of the lionesses squad for the match against Brazil and tomorrow’s match against Australia.

Rachel Daly, Jordan Nobbs and Hannah Hampton all started the match on the bench which I found an interesting move from Sarina Wiegman.

In the 23rd minute Manchester United’s Ella Toone scored England’s opener.

The lionesses were 1-0 up at the end of the first half so I was excited to see what the second half brought.

Brazil scored an equaliser in the 93 minute and this meant that the match went to penalties.

Chloe Kelly scored her penalty which gave England victory in the inaugural Finalissma.

It was nice to watch the whole match this time around because I didn’t get that chance during my last visit to Wembley.

I know that this is another very short blog, but I wanted to share my thoughts and feelings of returning to Wembley for the first time since 2021 with you, my readers, and followers.

I would like to end my normal way by taking this opportunity to thank all of my readers and followers who take time out of their busy schedules week in and week out to read my latest blog.
