I travelled to Sheffield and visited the 2023 cazoo snooker world championships this afternoon.

I attended this afternoon’s session and it featured Ronnie O’Sullivan, Luca Brecel, John Higgins and Mark Selby.

O’Sullivan versus Brecel was into its final session because it’s other 2 sessions took place yesterday (Tuesday).

Luca Brecel beat Ronnie the rocket O’Sullivan by 13 frames to 10 and secured his place in the semi finals of The World Snooker Championships.

Brecel won all 7 frames of the final session of his quarter final with O’Sullivan which was magnificent to witness.

I have watched all of Luca Brecel’s match with Ronnie O’Sullivan because it featured in BBC’s main coverage of the Snooker World Championship on Tuesday.

Luca Brecel won the opening frame of his quarter final with Ronnie O’Sullivan by 93 points to O’Sullivan’s 11.

Ronnie went onto take the second frame of the match by 116 points to Luca Brecel’s 0.

Luca Brecel won the 3rd frame of the match by 80 points to O’Sullivan’s 4.

The match was tied at the mid session interval of the match’s opening session after after Ronnie O’Sullivan took the 4th and final frame of the opening mini session.

Ronnie then took the 5th frame of the opening session by 73 points to Luca Brecel’s 23.

Ronnie O’Sullivan was leading Luca Brecel by 6 frames to 2 at the end of the morning session yesterday,

Luca Brecel took the opening frame of session 2 by 128 points to O’Sullivan’s 0.

Brecel took the second frame of the session by 75 points to O’Sullivan’s 49.

Ronnie O’Sullivan then took the 3rd frame of the evening session by 98 points to Luca Brecel’s 39.

O’Sullivan won the final frame before the evening mid session interval by 80 points to Luca Brecel’s 0.

Luca Brecel then won the first session after the mid session interval by 77 points to Ronnie O’Sullivan’s 37.

Brecel then took the second frame after the mid session interval by 81 points to O’Sullivan’s 0.

The rocket took the 3rd frame after the mid session interval last night by 81 points to Luca Brecel’s 35.

Ronnie O’Sullivan (The Rocket) won the final frame of Tuesday evening’s session by 91 points to Luca Brecel’s 0.

Ronnie O’Sullivan was leading the quarter final on table 1 by 10 frames to Luca Brecel’s 6 at the end of last night’s session and took that lead into the third and final session this afternoon (26th April).

I spent the majority of yeasterday afternoon (Tuesday) watching Mark Selby take on John Higgins in the other quarter final of this session at The World Snooker Championships.

Mark Selby started his match against John Higgins just after 2pm on table 2 at The Crucible.

John Higgins won opening frame of the match following a black re-spot after the frame was tied at 67 points a peace.

Higgins won the second frame of the opening mini session of his quarter final with Mark Selby by 64 points to Selby’s 4.

The Scotsman that is John Higgins then took the 3rd frame of the opening mini session of his quarter final with the Jester from Leicester (Mark Selby) by 86 points to the jesters 31.

John Higgins was leading by 3 frames to Mark Selby’s 1 at the opening mid session interval of there quarter final.

Higgins started the second half of the session by winning the first frame by 79 points to Selby’s 14.

The Jester from Leicester won the 6th frame of the opening session by 70 points to Higgin’s 0.

The session was 4 frames a peace going into this afternoon’s second session at Crucible.

The third and final session is taking place this evening (26th April) at the Crucible theatre in Sheffield.

Mark Selby beats John Higgins by 13 frames to 7 advances to the semi finals of the World Snooker Championships and will play Mark Allen from 7pm tomorrow evening.

Luca Brecel will face Si Jiahui in his semi final in Sheffield and that match starts at 1pm tomorrow afternoon.

I know that this is a very long and boring blog but I wanted to share my experience of visiting The World Snooker Championships at The Crucible in Sheffield with you, my readers and followers.
