I am honoured to have Cerebral Palsy as the England CP football team take on Ukraine in the European Championship final.

The England cerebral palsy football team will take on their Ukrainian counterparts this evening as they bid to be crowned European champions.

I am honoured to both have the condition of cerebral palsy and know one of the coaches and players within the current England set.

I was given the opportunity to interview current England player, Harry Baker as part of the 2021 Football vs Homophobia month of action which was an incredible opportunity.

Harry opened up about what it is like playing football for your country and having a condition like cerebral palsy.

He also went onto encourage other young people with the condition to be themselves and strive to achieve there dreams.

I have also been lucky enough to meet current England CP coach Jack Rutter twice in the last couple of years as a McDonald’s Fun Football ambassador.

When I first met Jack during a recording of podcast episode that focused on Hate Crime he bravely opened up about how he came to have cerebral palsy.

He bravely told those involved in the episode that a single punch to the head caused him to fall and hit his head leading to a diagnosis of cerebral palsy.

This was a story that reminded me that there are some idiots who think it is okay to change someone’s life forever in a single moment of madness out there within our society.

As many of you, my readers and followers will know I have cerebral palsy which I developed at birth meaning I was a wheelchair.

This is something that I haven’t let stop me from achieving my dreams and this is why I helped to co-produce a podcast series with the Herefordshire FA youth council called ” Listen in with the youth council”

I am incredible proud to have cerebral palsy and regard both Harry and Jack as friends of mine.

The England cerebral palsy football team have one final hurdle to overcome before they make history and become European champions.

If I could give a final message to Harry and Jack ahead of kick off this evening then it would be this, Go smash it lads you are incredible individuals and I for one will be backing you all the way to the final whistle.

I know that this is another very short blog but I wanted to share with you, my readers and followers how excited I am for the match this evening.

if you would like to show your support for the lads and watch them take on the current European campions, Ukraine you can do so here: https://www.youtube.com/live/EfU753-MqHU?feature=share from 5pm BST.

I would like to end in my normal way by taking the opportunity to thank all of my loyal readers and followers who read my blogs every week without fail, it doesn’t go unnoticed.
