I had the opportunity to visit 5 cities around the United Kingdom across 14 days with my best friend Dan and I absolutely loved the experience.
We started off by visiting Manchester for the opening match of the 2022 Women’s European Championships between the England and Austria at Old Trafford on Wednesday July the 6th.
Cardiff was the next city on our tour of the United Kingdom where we saw the stage show of Mrs Brown’s Boys just 48 hours after our visit to Manchester on Friday the 8th of July.
The next stop on our UK tour was Brighton for the second match of England’s Euro 2022 Championship campaign against Norway at the Amex Stadium on Monday July the 11th.
We then headed to the West Midlands and visited Birmingham to take in “we will rock you” the musical at the Birmingham Hippodrome.
The final stop on our UK tour was Southampton and St Mary’s Stadium to watch the lionesses take on Northern Ireland in their final group match of the Euro’s on Friday the 15th of July.
The nationwide tour was an incredible experience and something that I will never forget despite having to spend hour and after hour on board various trains.
We also got to check out 4 different Premier Inn hotels that had different levels of accessibility which only highlights a growing issue in this area.
It was however disappointing to see that station staff were prepared to argue over where to place me on a train prior to its departure from the Amex Stadium in Brighton, in my opinion this was highly unprofessional.
I understand that this is an incredibly short blog but I wanted to relive a hectic 14 days traveling the nation with my best friend, Dan though the power of a blog.
As always I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of you, my readers and followers for taking the time out of your busy schedules to read my blogs each week.
