I travelled to the Hippodrome in Birmingham with my best friend Dan and watched the musical of the Lion King today (Wednesday the 12th of July).
The musical started with the animals entering the theatre through the audience to the Circle of Life.
I was so excited for scene 6 of the first act because it featured one of my favourite Songs, I just can’t wait to be king.
The last song the first act (scene 13) was another cracker, Hakuna Matata.
They started the second act of the production with the song One by One which was incredible to witness because the audience was again involved in the number.
The sixth scene of the second act featured another awesome song, Can you feel the love tonight which happens to be another of my favourite songs.
The finale of the production saw the cast repeat the song “ The Circle of Life “ which left me delighted.
I love this song because I preformed a musical ride dressed as a baby to it many years ago.
I know that this is another very short blog but I wanted to share why I enjoyed the musical of the Lion King so much with you, my readers and followers whilst it is still fresh in my memory.
