England and Scotland’s T20 Cricket teams travelled over to the West Indies this week to take on some of the world’s best in the game. The 2 sides start there World Cup against each other at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados on Tuesday (June, 4th 2024) at 15:30.
The Scot’s will return to the same venue just 2 days after facing the 3 lions to take on Namibia with England back there on June 8th to meet the Aussie’s. Jos Buttler will then take his side to the Sir Vivian Richards stadium in Antigua where they will face the Oman on Thursday the 13th of June at 20:00.
Scotland will also play their 3rd match of the tournament at the Sir Vivian Richards stadium against the Oman on June 9th at 18:00.
Buttler and his England will face Namibia in Antigua at the same venue where they played the Oman, earlier in the campaign, Scotland will face the Aussie’s at the Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, St Lucia at 01:30 on Sunday the 16th of June.

The T20 Format
Each team has 11 players with each team bowling a maximum of 20 overs.
Teams have one innings with the bat and then another with the ball.
First 6 overs is called the Power-play – this means that the fielding team are only allowed two of there players outside of the 30 yard circle.
After the power-play a maximum of five fielders are allowed outside of the 30 yard circle.
The team who has scored the most runs after each team has had their 20 overs with the bat is declared the winner.
However if the score is tied at the end of end of the match a super over will be played and consist of 6 balls for each team in a bid to determine an overall winner.
