Tonight I’m heading to the BP Pulse Live in Birmingham for Hits Radio Live. This years lineup includes Tom Grennan, Tom Walker, Pixie Lott and the sugar babes..
In the hours before heading to the venue, I decided to visit the German Christmas market which is located in Birmingham city Centre.
This is something that I’ve always found challenging as a wheelchair user because of how busy it can be due to the locals and tourists visiting it.
After tucking in to the mandatory Nando’s, I came across a stall selling chocolate covered marshmallow things.
It was finally time for Christmas to begin, once I had headed back to the hotel where I tucked into these delicious treats which came in a number of different flavours that included Ferrero Rocher, After Eight, original, Irish cream with a hint of brandy.
Those were disabilities will have to have a good tolerance level when visiting the market because people will not get out of your way as they won’t know you are there.
A number of other stalls could be found at the market selling a variety of things such as,
- Pretzels
- Bratwursts
- Crêpes
- nuts
- Beer
- Garlic bread with a variety of fillings
- A variety of hot drinks, including hot chocolate
- Stalls selling other products
The Birmingham German Christmas market is in the city until December 22nd, 2024 when the market traders head home for Christmas.
