Don’t stress and book your assisted travel ahead of the first England men’s football international at Villa Park in 20 years

Tomorrow evening, we’ll see Villa Park host its first England men’s international in 20 years, when England take on Andorra in a FIFA World Cup qualifier.

If you are travelling by rail and require assistance to board or disembark services on your way home or to the match, don’t stress and book your assisted travel ahead of time.

Assisted travel can be booked up to 2 hours before departure in one of three ways:

By Phone: 0800 024 8998 or by using Next Generation Text – 18001 0800 024 8998.

Online: https://booking.passengerassistance.com.

By using the App: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/passenger-assistance/id1542190496.

Services to and from Witton Lane and Aston railway stations are likely to be extremely busy tomorrow, especially as we get close to kickoff which is at 17:00 and supporters start making their way to the stadium.

To avoid any upset or distress being caused I strongly recommend that you consider booking your assisted travel for earlier trains in the afternoon as services heading in the direction of the stadium 90 minutes before kickoff are likely to be packed.

My message to supporters using both stations around the stadium is a clear but simple one and is this. Since the spaces and signage were installed in 2024, you have been outstanding in the way that you have supported our community to travel by rail to matches or events at Villa Park.

This match is no different despite the magnitude of it so I urge to you once again support our community to travel with ease and confidence by not standing in the waiting spaces on both platforms at the stations.

Let’s just enjoy this experience and cheer on the three Lions in there latest FIFA World Cup qualifier for the 2026 tournament.

Don’t forget to check out the matchday blog on this subject that I will be posting on my social media throughout tomorrow in the hours before kickoff as fans start making their way to the area.

I would once again like to thank the incredible team at West Midlands Trains who have gone above and beyond in recent years to ensure that our community have the best possible experience when it comes to travelling by rail across the Midlands, it doesn’t go unnoticed and is very much appreciated.

A thank you must also go to you, my loyal readers and social media followers who continually take the time out of your busy schedule to read my latest post it doesn’t go unnoticed and as of course very much appreciated.
