Let’s keep the faith in the Villa boys following this evening’s 2-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home in the premier league

It’s time to keep the faith in Villa boys following this evening’s (Friday, 27th February) 2-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Barclays Premier League at Molineux stadium in Wolverhampton.

In 2026, Aston Villa have only won three matches in the league, however I see no reason for us as fans to panic about that.

Let’s all remember what happened just a few years ago at Craven cottage in London when we played Fulham and were under the leadership of Liverpool legend, Steven Gerrard.

That night we were calling for him to go after a disappointing result in the capital, let’s not give Emery the same treatment as he has worked wonders for us in recent years.

Recent season’s have us play the UEFA Europa Conference League, the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League this season, under Emery.

Every football team across the nation, whether they play in the biggest league in England or the lowest league in Scotland has their ups and downs occasionally.

Tonight is not the time to turn our backs on the lads as supporters, I urge you when heading home to remember the good times and prepare to support the lads when we play Chelsea in B6 on Wednesday evening (4th March 2026).

I for one will be cheering the lads on from home when we face Chelsea under the lights of Villa Park next week.
