The passenger assistance team at New Street station in Birmingham failed to turn up at my train on its arrival into the second city this morning.
Luckily the senior conductor from West Midlands Railway who was on board the train was aware of me and assisted me off.
I then made my way to the assisted travel lounge in the station and let them know that I had a connecting train on to Milton Keynes.
My message once again to the assistance team at New Street station is this, please do better it is completely unacceptable that I continue to experience these issues at the station time and time again.
It is time that I stop using the lounge and continue self boarding trains home with the support of the WMR senior conductors.
Things have to improve today and in the next 5 or 10 years when it suits.
