I dont enjoy having my feelings messed with by those who are there to support us in living our best lives.

I will find out along with thousands of other disabled people this afternoon if I will be affected by the welfare reform cuts that were announced by the Work and Pensions Secretary, Liz Kendall last week.

Chancellor Rachel Reeves is due to deliver her spring statement to the house of commons and nation this afternoon in which she’s expected to reveal the how much will need to be saved by the government as part of the reforms.

The office for budget responsibility has said that the cuts won’t save the 5 billion pounds, announced last last week meaning the chancellor will need to make slight changes to what is cut as part of the plans.

As I have said in previous posts on the subject, personal independence payment (PIP) is something that I rely on in order to live my best life.

My wheelchair is NHS funded with the remaining cash being put in using the payments that I receive on a monthly basis,

It is disgusting how the Prime Minister and his government have handled this entire situation and they should consider how they are going to better manage similar situations in the future.

Don’t you want myself and my friends to live as independently as possible?, if so, why do you feel it is necessary to ruin our lives even more than you already have.

Please stop with this game. It’s not funny anymore and shouldn’t have happened in the first place, so many disabled people are going to be affected by this decision for many years to come.

My mental health has suffered in recent weeks because of the uncertainty around personal Independence payment for those of us with disabilities who claim the benefit.
